A Passion for Innovation Rooted in Personal Experience

At Tri Axis Golf Alignment LLC, we believe that the best solutions come from experiencing and understanding the problem first hand. Our founder and CEO, Al Delgado, is a U.S. military disabled  veteran, a former professional athlete, and a highly accomplished aerospace mechanical design engineer with over 32 years of experience, working with organizations like NASA on projects such as the SLS rocket and Patriot missile defense.

In 2003, while playing in a regional qualifying event, Al twisted and injured his lower back which forced him to withdraw and re-evaluate his physical approach to the game he loved. This pivotal moment led him to analyze and apply his engineering expertise to the sport he loves. To stop reinjuring his lower back, he stood up to swing a golf club and this technique is now referred to as "Standup Golf". It was born, designed and assembled from his own set of single-length irons and allows him and other golfers to play without risking back injury, all while restoring the natural athletic talent. This innovation led to a personal best score of 63 and 5 missed birdie putts. With this new business model for retraining golfers across the U.S. Since 2008, Al has successfully instructed notable golfers, including LPGA champion Hana Jang.

​​From Crazy Idea to Proven Success

Early on, Al's innovative ideas were met with skepticism from major golf manufacturers. However, in 2015, Bryson DeChambeau's NCAA and U.S. amateur wins with single-length irons validated Al's long-held vision. Today, this once-"crazy" idea has become a cornerstone of modern golf equipment design.

 

The Birth of Tri Axis Golf Alignment

Al’s journey of innovation didn't stop there. He identified and analyzed another historical struggle he and all golfers cannot fix on their own, misalignment and offline aiming in putting.

This inspired him to invent and patent the Tri Axis Golf exact alignment and direct aiming, devices. These unique, easy-to-use devices are attached to a golf club grip and instantly  provides an exact 3 intersecting axis aligned (stance and golf club) setup and real time interactive feedback to correct misalignment and offline aiming. The Tri Axis alignment devices instantly eliminate the need for guessing, extensive training, allowing golfers to instantly improve their putting, iron, and driver accuracy.
